yeah, i know the titles cliche and that saying its cliche IS cliche, but its the NEW YEAR, so i guess we just pressed the restart button on the year which makes it NOT cliche to say it!
Well it was a rather interesting way of celebrating the New Years in the my hometown (a combination of retardness which nearly got me killed by a bunch of speeding bikers),The year before that i nearly got impaled on a hockey stadium's gate!!! (dont ask)
But one thing i did realise is that people dont really celebrate the NEW YEAR when the NEW YEAR actually BEGINS! Think about it, a few seconds before the New Year, everyone would be excited that its going to be the NEW YEAR. They take time to hang out and count down till the final seconds of the last year and usher in, OFFICIALLY, the NEW YEAR.
But one thing i did realise is that people dont really celebrate the NEW YEAR when the NEW YEAR actually BEGINS! you're so true. i went for a movie about 4 hours before new year. finished movie, i go to some club in bm n meet my parents there. gila gila till countdown, after that, we went back liao. haha!
