Well Chritmas has come and go..., AGAIN. SIIIIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..., guess its another 365 days to go till Christmas........
IN ANY CASE, the NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS is already en route to our calenders so its THAT TIME OF THE YEAR where you make a RESOLUTION for the coming year. Well, last year my new years resolution was to have NO NEW YEARS resolution (AND I KEPT IT RIGHT, TASH??) but guess for the Year 2009 which is suppose to be MONUMENTAL for many of us in IPBA, a BIGGER RESOLUTION SHOULD BE PUT into MOTION.
So better then stupid resolutions like 'get fit' and 'save money' which only has a success rate of 15% according to a research in America, why dont you..., make a COVENANT to say YES to life. even if its things you dont like.
For better understanding on this matter, go watch the YES MAN right before the NEW YEAR of 2009!!! FASTER!!!!!!!!!

Yeah some of the moments on the movie makes no sense cause its not mortally possible to have such luck right? But the essence of the story itself which is the power of the word YES is basically true. If you say yes, it usually lead to something else, an experience eventhough we dont know if its good or bad, but the word NO is final. No possibilities. Final. PERIOD.
After seeing the movie, i came to recall some things which i did in my life. Many times i didnt want to do something cause it was boring or i was too lazy (and the excuses just kept coming.....)
But come to think of it, when i actually took the initiative to say 'yeah, why not.' i usually had unexpected fun! ;-p

- I went to college to be a teacher( so far so good right?)
- Started playing Magic the Gathering eventhough i used to say i dont have the money for it.
- Went out with people who i think would make the process of hanging out weird.

So, do the right thing today. BE A YES MAN FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!! GO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!! IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
